It will be a question of showing you the architectural marks of the symbolism of the F.M. in the urban landscape of the center of Brussels during about 3 hours of walk.
Belgium has a Masonic history, discovers Brussels otherwise
in connection with the choices of the dominant social groups linked to the MF, ie the aristocracy of the end of the 18th century, the liberal bourgeoisie of the nineteenth century;
because of real or supposed references to a symbolism of operative masons or companionship prior to the development of the modern F.M., but in which some Freemasons see filiation.
The course lasts about exclusively on flat ground in the center of the city. Main axes: Beguinage, Fish Market, Rue de Flandres, Rue A.Danssart, Grand Place, Place De Brouckère. But, we can always reduce the course to meet the wishes of the participants!
