Before joining Reed Smith, Christian has been partner at Norton Rose Fulbright in Brussels.
Christian advises on all aspects of EU and international competition and merger control law, EU state aid and public procurement as well as regulatory law.
With more than 20 years of experience, Christian advises clients from strategic planning to closing on mergers, joint ventures, restructurings and public takeovers as well as on competition compliance issues in distribution systems and other commercial dealings in Europe (cooperation agreements, licensing, sales/marketing) and defends clients in cartel and abuse of dominance investigations, state aid cases and in regulatory matters.
Christian is a member of the Austrian bar and a registered lawyer at the bar in Germany and Brussels. He is recommended by the leading legal directories (Legal 500, Chambers, JUVE).
